Dr. Ciara Shorts is a Pennsylvania State Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic a member of the International Chiropractic Association. In 2020 she graduated from D’Youville University’s Chiropractic program. She completed her undergraduate study at Clarion University where she received her bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Shorts is a trusted and experienced clinician dedicated to helping her patients with a personal, hands-on approach. She has treated a wide array of patients serving as an associate doctor for some of Pittsburgh’s busiest clinics. She strives to provide personalized care that is specific enough for the complex cases but gentle enough for newborn who has just entered the world. Her approach is a patient centered care which means communicating with other providers to aid the patient in restoring overall health & vitality.
As a one of the most decorated distance runners in the history of Clarion University she continues her love for staying active. Dr. Shorts knows what it takes to help prevent & treat injuries. When she’s not treating patients she enjoys creating memories with her family. She lives in Murrysville with Tom and their daughter Fiora along with an entourage of pets. She enjoys lifting, running, biking, hiking and traveling. She credits much of her success to her biggest influence and supporter, her great grandfather Jack Stull, who adopted her and her sisters as children. He taught her to have a strong work ethic and to champion adversity. His selfless care for others is what led her to become a doctor of chiropractic.
